Glamis Country Fair & Horse Trials

31st July – 2nd August 2020

Following the recent statement from British Eventing, we would like to clarify that Glamis Country Fair and Horse Trials is not currently cancelled.

Obviously we are in uncertain times and as the situation unfolds, we will take a further view.  This will take into account advice from both British Eventing and the Scottish Government and decisions will be taken on the basis of safety above all else.

If the event is cancelled, all ticket money (minus any booking charges) will be refunded within 30 days of the announcement of cancellation.

Tradestand applications are still open and we are happy to receive documentation without payment until the way forward is clear, at which point payment will be due promptly and in full to secure a space.  Those traders who have already applied and paid will receive a full refund, as per the terms and conditions, should the event not go ahead.

Thank you for your support to date and we will keep you informed of any developments as and when they arise.

The inaugural Glamis Country Fair & Horse Trials took place over three days in early August and showcased  a diverse array of trade stands, craft stalls and artisan food stalls as well as the high octane dog agility, fun dog show, birds of prey and, of course, the horse trials.

The horse trials was most definitely the grand stage for the grassroots rider, giving those who compete at novice level or below the opportunity to take part in an event in stunning surroundings usually the preserve of an international competition, with the main show jumping arena slap bang in front of the castle itself.  What great photos and memories our riders this year have taken home with them.
